Program Substitution
What is it? When cable companies delete the program signal, including its commercial content, of one station and substitute the signal of another station. Also referred to as Simulcast. For example, when US and Canadian stations are telecasting the same episode of a program at the same time, the cable company will replace the American identification and commercials with Canadian content.Added By: Kylie
